Introduction
Welcome to Week 22 of 2026!
Most users learned form/input table handling by clearing forms or resetting the input table upon submission or an action trigger downstream. This is viable for a low usage app.
If you are building an app that might be used by hundreds of users simultaneously, and the workflow requires them to see a distinct (not influenced by other user input) and clean copy of input table as a starting point, this challenge shows you how you could build up an action sequence to force Sigma App into custom view before user starts enterring records to a clean copy of input table.
To complete this challenge, you must work in Sigma Public.
Good luck!

Requirements
Build a tabbed container to switch between the beginning action trigger and the actual form/input table. Leverage set control value action to force the workbook to enter custom view, then use the update input table value action to reset the input table within the custom view.
Tabbed Container
Hide tab header, and format the background color to match the workbook background color. Use buttons to navigate between tabs.
Action Sequence
The order of operations is important: First, set a hidden control value, which will force the workbook into custom view, so that the user are seeing their own copy of the input table. Second, set all inputable columns to the default value, ensuring the user will start from an expected default set of values, such as checkboxes, text columns, and numeric input. Finally, navigate to the actual form container tab.
